New Construction

Inspections & Warranties

New construction inspections and builder warranties protect your investment. We help you schedule and attend pre-drywall walkthroughs, final inspections, and third-party new construction inspections.

Key Inspection Stages

Pre-Drywall Walkthrough

Before the drywall is installed, we walk through the home to inspect framing, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. This is your best chance to catch issues before they are hidden behind walls.

Third-Party New Construction Inspection

We recommend hiring an independent home inspector who specializes in new construction. They will inspect the home thoroughly and identify any issues the builder may have missed.

Final Walkthrough

Before closing, we walk through the completed home with you to document any cosmetic issues, incomplete work, or items that need correction before you take possession.

Builder Warranties

One-Year Warranty

Covers workmanship and materials for the first year. Includes issues with drywall cracks, trim, paint, flooring, cabinets, and other finish work.

Two-Year Mechanical

Covers defects in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems for the first two years.

10-Year Structural

Covers major structural defects in the foundation, load-bearing walls, and roof structure for 10 years. This is typically backed by an insurance policy.
