4 Weeks Before: Under Contract
Accept an offer on your current home, go under contract on your new home, complete inspections and negotiations, and finalize financing.
2 Weeks Before: Finalize
Coordinate movers, pack belongings, complete final walkthroughs, and prepare for closing documents.
Moving Day: Close & Move
Close on your sale and purchase (hopefully on the same day), move into your new home, and update your address with utilities, banks, and the post office.
